Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Assistant Professor (Cardio Vascular and Thoracic Surgery) in Medical Education. Category No: 344/2019 - 345/2019. Vacancies: SIUC Nadar - 01 (One) [Category No. 344/2019], OBC - 01 (One) [Category No. 345/2019]. Scale of Pay: As per UGC norms. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment from candidates belonging to the SIUC Nadar and OBC communities. Applications must be submitted online on or before 15-01-2020 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

21-49: Only candidates born between 02.01.1970 and 01.01.1998 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for the post. (including the age relaxation in para 2(i) of the General Conditions). Note: For other relaxations regarding age, please see para (2) of the General Conditions except Para 2(i) Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • M.Ch. (Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery) / DNB (Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery) / M.Ch. (Cardiac Surgery) / M.Ch. (Thoracic Surgery) from a recognized University. • In the absence of candidates with the above qualifications, candidates with MBBS Degree from a recognized University will be considered for appointment as LECTURER. Technical Qualifications: • Permanent Registration under State Medical Council (Travancore - Cochin Medical Council) Experience Required: Three years Teaching Experience or such other teaching experience as prescribed by the Medical Council of India. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Part II Rule 10(a)ii is applicable. Candidates who claim equivalent qualifications instead of the qualification mentioned in the notification shall produce the relevant Government Order to prove the equivalency at the time of verification.
