Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Assistant Professor in Anaesthesiology in Medical Education. Category No: 217/2019. Vacancies: SCCC- 01 (One). Scale of Pay: As per UGC norms. Age limit

21-49. Only candidates born between 02.01.1970 and 01.01.1998 (both dates included). Members belonging to Scheduled Caste who had converted to Christianity after attaining adulthood and their children are eligible for relaxation up to 50 years (born between 02.01.1969 and 01.01.1998). Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Medical Post Graduate Degree such as MS (Anaesthesiology) from a recognized university/ DNB (Anaesthesiology) • In the absence of candidates with the above, MBBS Degree from a recognised University will be considered for appointment as LECTURER Technical Qualifications: • Permanent Registration under State Medical Council (Travancore-Cochin Medical Council) Experience Required: Three years teaching experience or such other teaching experience as prescribed by the Medical Council of India. Post Graduate study period for Medical subjects will be considered as teaching experience provided candidates have undergone Residency Programme or produce a certificate of teaching/clinical work experience during the PG course. Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 a (ii) of part II of KS&SSR is applicable. Candidates claiming equivalent qualification must produce the relevant Government Order at the time of verification.

Candidates must submit confirmation for writing the examination through their One Time Registration profile if a test is conducted. Compulsory military service of four years during the first ten years of service is required, with exemptions for differently abled candidates and those who have completed 45 years of age.
