Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Assistant Professor in Cardiology in Medical Education. Category No: 349/2019 - 352/2019. Vacancies: NCA – Viswakarma-01 – Cat. No. 349/2019, Scheduled Caste-01 – Cat. No. 350/2019, Ezhava-02 - Cat. No. 351/2019, Muslim-01 - Cat. No. 352/2019. Scale of Pay: As per UGC norms. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment for candidates belonging to the above mentioned reservation Communities (First NCA Notification). Applications must be submitted online on or before 15-01-2020 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

i. 21-49: Only candidates born between 02.01.1970 and 01.01.1998 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for the post in the case of Viswakarma, Ezhava and Muslim Communities. ii. 21-50: Only candidates born between 02.01.1969 and 01.01.1998 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for the post in the case of SC community (including age relaxation in Para 2(i) of General Conditions). Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • DM (Cardiology)/DNB(Cardiology) • In the absence of candidates with the above qualifications, candidates with MBBS Degree from a recognised University will be considered for appointment as LECTURER. Technical Qualifications: • Permanent Registration under State Medical Council (Travancore – Cochin Medical Council) Experience Required: Three years Teaching Experience or such other teaching experience as prescribed by the Medical Council of India. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Part II Rule 10(a)ii is applicable. Candidates who claim equivalent qualifications shall produce the relevant Government Order to prove equivalency at the time of verification.
