25-45; Candidates must be born between 02/01/1976 and 01/01/1996 (both dates included). Usual age relaxation applies to SC/ST and Other Backward Communities.
Qualifications
Educational Qualifications: ā€¢ DM Neonatology / DNB Neonatology ā€¢ In the absence of the above, MD Pediatrics / DNB Pediatrics with 2 years of special training in Neonatology Technical Qualifications: ā€¢ Permanent registration with State Medical Council (Travancore-Cochin Medical Council) Experience Required: Three years of teaching experience in Neonatology as Resident / Registrar / Demonstrator / Tutor in a recognized Medical College. Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable. Equivalency of DNB qualifications is subject to specific criteria regarding bed strength and teaching units as detailed in the notification.
Notes
Candidates must undergo 2 years of probation within a continuous period of 3 years. Selected candidates must serve in the Defense Services or defense-related jobs in India or abroad for 4 years within the first 10 years of service (not applicable to those who have completed 45 years of age or those with physical disabilities).
