Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Assistant Professor in Surgical Oncology in Medical Education Service. Category No: 03/2021. Vacancies: 06 (Six). Scale of Pay: As per UGC norms. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment. Applications must be submitted online on or before 21-04-2021 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

22-45; Candidates should have been born between 02.01.1976 and 01.01.1999 (both dates included). Usual age relaxations for Other Backward Classes, SC/ST, etc. Upper age limit shall in no case exceed 50 (Fifty) years. Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • M.Ch/DNB in Surgical Oncology • In the absence of candidates with the above qualification, MS/DNB in General Surgery/ENT/Orthopaedics or MD/DNB in Obstetrics & Gynaecology with 2 years special training in Surgical Oncology will be considered. Technical Qualifications: • Registration with Travancore-Cochin Medical Council or Medical Council of India Experience Required: 3 years Teaching Experience as Resident in Surgical Oncology in a recognized Medical College OR 1 year teaching experience after acquiring Post Graduate Degree. Preference will be given to those having 1 year experience as Senior Resident. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Part II Rule 10 (a) ii is applicable.
General conditions from the notification
Candidates subject to compulsory military service (4 years service within first 10 years) as per rules. Exemption for those who completed 45 years of age and differently abled candidates.
