Age limit

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A pass in S.S.L.C. or its Equivalent qualification. Technical Qualifications: • Must posses Current Motor Driving Licence (Light Duty Vehicles) of at least three years standing and Driver's Badge. • Proficiency in driving Light Duty Vehicles to be proved through a practical test conducted by P.S.C. including H Test and Road Test. Those who pass H Test will alone be permitted for Road Test. Physical Standards: Medical Fitness: (a) Ear - Hearing should be perfect. (b) Eye - Distant vision: Right eye 6/6 Snellen, Left eye 6/6 Snellen; Near vision: Right eye 0.5 snellen, Left eye 0.5 snellen; Colour Vision: Normal; Night blindness: Nil. (c) Muscles and joints - No paralysis and all joints must be capable of free movement. (d) Nervous System - Perfectly normal and free from any infectious diseases. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 (a)(ii) of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable.
