Age limit

30-46: Only candidates born between 02.01.1973 and 01.01.1989 (both dates are included) are eligible to apply for this post with usual age relaxation to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Communities. Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • (a) Doctorate in Economics of a recognized University or Institution • (b) First or Second Class Masters Degree in Economics of a recognized University or Institution Experience Required: For (a): Two (2) years experience in Research Work (theoretical or applied) either in Government Institutions, or in recognized Universities or other recognized Institutions. For (b): Five (5) years experience in Research Work (theoretical or applied) either in Government Departments or recognized Universities or other recognized Institutions. Desirable: Experience in working on techniques or Project evaluation and appraisal. Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 a (ii) of Part II KS & SSR is applicable. Applications of candidates who have claimed qualifications equivalent to those prescribed in the gazette notification for the post will be considered equivalent only if they produce government orders to prove equivalency at the time of verification.
General conditions from the notification
Every person appointed to this post shall from the date on which he joins duty be on probation for the period of two years duty within a continuous period of three years. The Rules of Reservation prescribed in the rules 14 to 17 of part II of KS&SSR 1958 are not applicable to this post.
