18 – 36; only candidates born between 02.01.1982 and 01.01.2000 (both dates are included) are eligible to apply, with usual age relaxation to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Communities.

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Must have passed the SSLC examination or its equivalent examination. Technical Qualifications: • National Trade Certificate in Draftsman Civil or Surveyor. • Group Certificate in Kerala Government Certificate of Engineering (Group Certificate will include all the four subjects mainly Building, Drawing, Building Construction, Survey and Irrigation). • A pass in the Madras Government Technical Examination/Kerala Government Technical Examination in the following seven subjects: (i) Surveying and leveling (Higher), (ii) Applied Mechanics (Higher), (iii) Building Materials and Construction (Higher), (iv) Building Drawing and Estimating (Higher), (v) Hydraulics and Irrigation (Higher), (vi) Geometrical Drawing (Higher), (vii) Mensuration (Lower). • Diploma in Civil Engineering (2 year course) of the woman’s Polytechnic of the State of Kerala. Experience Required: Not specified Physical Standards: Not specified Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS & SSR Part II Rule 10 (a) ii is applicable.
