Age Limit
18-36. Only candidates born between 02/01/1983 and 01/01/2001 (both dates are included) are eligible to apply for this post with usual age relaxation to Scheduled castes, Scheduled Tribes and other Backward Communities.
Qualifications
Educational Qualifications: • Pass in S.S.L.C or its equivalent qualification recognised by Government of Kerala. Technical Qualifications: • National Trade Certificate in the Trade of Mechanic or its equivalent qualification recognised by the Government of Kerala. Physical Standards: 3% of the vacancies for the post shall be reserved for differently abled candidates with Locomotor disability/Cerebral palsy, Hearing impairment. Differently abled candidates with Low vision are not eligible to apply for this post. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 a (ii) of Part II KS & SSR is applicable. Candidates who claim equivalent qualification instead of qualification mentioned in the notification shall produce the relevant Government order to prove the equivalency at the time of verification.
Notes
Every person appointed to this post shall, from the date on which join duty, be on probation for a total period of two years of duty within a continuous period of three years. Part II KS&SSR applies.
