18 - 44 i.e. only candidates born between 02.01.1972 and 01.01.1998 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. In the absence of qualified candidates within the age limit the upper age limit shall be relaxed upto 50 years. But in no case the maximum age limit shall exceed 50 (fifty) years.

Educational Qualifications: • A pass in Standard VII/III Forum. Technical Qualifications: • Must possess Driver's Badge and valid Driving Licence of 3 (three) years standing to drive Heavy goods/ Heavy Passenger Motor Vehicles. • Proficiency in driving Heavy goods/Passenger Motor Vehicles which is to be proved in a practical test including "H Test" & Road Test conducted by Kerala Public Service Commission during the course of selection. Only those who have passed "H Test" are eligible for "Road Test". Physical Standards: Medical Fitness: (a) Ear: Hearing should be perfect. (b) Eye: Distant Vision : 6/6 Snellen, Near Vision : 0.5 Snellen, Colour vision : Normal, Night blindness : Nil. (c) Muscle & Joints : No Paralysis, all joints with free movement. (d) Nervous System : Perfectly normal and free from any infectious diseases. Physically Handicapped candidates are not eligible to apply. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS & SSR Part II Rule 10(a) ii is applicable to this selection.

Paragraphs two, three and twenty five (except the conditions laid down in the Rule 3(c) of Part II of the Kerala State & Subordinate Service Rules) are not applicable to this selection.
