Age Limit
18 - 39, Only candidates born between 02.01.1983 and 01.01.2004 (both dates included) are eligible. Usual age relaxation for OBC and SC/ST candidates. Provisional hands working in the concern are eligible for age relaxation up to 5 years.
Qualifications
Educational Qualifications: • A pass in standard VII or equivalent qualification. Technical Qualifications: • Must possess current Motor Driving Licence to drive Light Motor Vehicles and Heavy Motor Vehicles with Driver's Badge. • Heavy Motor Vehicle Driving Licence shall be of at least 3 years standing. • In case of Driving Licence issued after 16.01.1979, separate endorsement to drive Heavy Duty Goods Vehicles and Heavy Duty Passenger Vehicles is required. Experience Required: None specified, but proficiency in driving Heavy Duty Vehicles is to be proved by a practical test conducted by the KPSC. Physical Standards: Medical Fitness: Hearing should be perfect. Eye: Distant vision 6/6 Snellen, Near vision 0.5 Snellen, Colour Vision Normal, Night blindness Nil. Muscles and Joints: No Paralysis and all joints with free movements. Nervous system: Perfectly normal, free from any infectious diseases. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 a (ii) of Part II KS & SSR is applicable. Candidates claiming equivalent or higher qualifications must produce certificates in proof of higher / equivalent qualification from the institution concerned or Govt. Order in proof of equivalency.
Notes
Candidates must see the General Conditions in Part II of the Gazette Notification. Sub Paras (v), (vii), (viii), (ix), (x), (xi) & (xiii) in para 2 and paras 5, 5(a) and 7 of the general conditions are not applicable to this post. Selection is subject to rules and regulations of the concern.
