Age Limit
21-44. Candidates must have been born between 02.01.1977 and 01.01.2000 (both dates included). (Including relaxations under General Conditions 2(i))
Qualifications
Educational Qualifications: • Pass in VII Standard (Primary School) or equivalent qualification. Technical Qualifications: • Must possess current Driving Licence of Heavy Duty Vehicles and Motor Cycles with three years experience of driving Heavy Duty Vehicles (Military or Civil). • Driving Licence issued after 16.01.1979 must have endorsement for Heavy Goods and Heavy Passenger vehicles. Applications with endorsement for only one category will be summarily rejected. • Ability to read and write Malayalam or Tamil or Kannada. Experience Required: Must possess 3 years practical experience of driving Heavy Duty Vehicles (Military or Civil). Physical Standards: Must possess physical fitness and specified visual standards (Distant vision 6/6 snellen, near vision 0.5 snellen, normal colour vision, free from night blindness, etc.) as detailed in the notification. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable. Equivalency claims must be proved by producing government orders at the time of OTR verification.
