Age Limit
18 – 42 (only Candidates born between 02.01.1977 and 01.01.2001 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post.[including the relaxation as per para 2 (i) of General Conditions].
Qualifications
Educational Qualifications: • A Pass in Standard VII/III Forum. Technical Qualifications: • Must posses valid Heavy Passenger/Goods Driving Licence of three years standing with Badge. • Proficiency in Driving Heavy Goods/Passenger Motor Vehicles which is to be proved in a Practical Test conducted by Kerala Public Service Commission during the course of selection (Only those who have passed 'H' Test will alone be permitted for Road Test). Experience Required: Must possess valid Heavy Passenger/Goods Driving Licence of three years standing with Badge. Physical Standards: Ear: Hearing should be perfect. Eye: Distant vision 6/6 Snellen (Right & Left), Near vision 0.5 snellen (Right & Left), Colour Vision: Normal, Night blindness: Nil. Muscles and joints: No paralysis and all joints must be capable of free movement. Nervous System: Perfectly normal and free from any infectious diseases. Each eye must have full field of vision. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 (a)(ii) of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable. Candidates claiming equivalent qualification should produce relevant Govt. Orders bearing verification to prove that the qualification claimed is equivalent to the prescribed qualification for the post.
Notes
Applications submitted through conventional type will be summarily rejected. Candidates must submit confirmation for writing the examination through their 'One Time Registration' Profile. Probation period is 2 years on duty within continuous period of 3 years.
