Age Limit
1. 21-42. Candidates born between 02.01.1977 and 01.01.1998 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post in the case of Muslim, OBC, Viswakarma, SIUC-Nadar and LC/AI Communities. 2. 21-44. Candidates born between 02.01.1975 and 01.01.1998 (both dates are included) are eligible to apply for this post in the case of Scheduled Caste Community. Upper age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years.
Qualifications
Educational Qualifications: ā€¢ Literacy in Malayalam or Tamil or Kannada. Technical Qualifications: ā€¢ Must possess Current Motor Driving Licence with endorsement for driving Heavy Duty Vehicle and Motor Cycle ā€¢ Must have three years experience in driving Heavy Duty vehicle either Military or Civil ā€¢ Driving Licence issued after 16.01.1979 must have endorsement both for heavy Goods and heavy passenger Vehicles Experience Required: Must have three years experience in driving Heavy Duty vehicle either Military or Civil. Physical Standards: Medical Fitness: Ear - Hearing should be perfect. Eye - Distant vision: 6/6 Snellen (Right & Left), Near vision: 0.5 snellen (Right & Left), Colour Vision: Normal, Night blindness: Nil. Muscles and joints - No paralysis and all joints must be capable of free movement. Nervous System - Perfectly normal and free from any infectious diseases. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 (a)(ii) of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable.
Notes
The selection will be made on a revenue district basis, subject to special conditions laid down in G.O.(MS) No.154/71/PD dated 27/05/1971. Every person appointed shall be on probation for a total period of 2 years on duty within a continuous period of 3 years.
