Qualifications
Educational Qualifications: ā€¢ Literacy in Malayalam or Tamil or Kannada Technical Qualifications: ā€¢ Current Motor Driving Licence with endorsement for driving Heavy Duty Vehicle and Motor Cycle ā€¢ Must possess valid Driving Licence and badge throughout all stages of selection Experience Required: Three years experience in driving Heavy Duty vehicle either Military or Civil. Driving Licence issued after 16.01.1979 must have endorsement both for heavy Goods and heavy passenger Vehicles. Physical Standards: Distant vision: 6/6 Snellen (both eyes), Near vision: 0.5 Snellen (both eyes), Normal colour vision, Nil night blindness. Must be free from paralysis, infectious diseases, and have perfect hearing. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 (a)(ii) of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable.
Notes
Selection on revenue district basis. Probation period of 2 years on duty within a continuous period of 3 years. Candidates must be prepared to clean and oil motor vehicles. Differently abled candidates are not eligible.
