Age limit

Must not have completed 45 (Forty Five) years as on 01.01.2019. Candidates born on or after 02.01.1974 are eligible to apply for the post. Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • B.A, B.Sc or B.Com Degree of any recognized University or its equivalent • In the case of Ex-Servicemen the minimum qualification shall be SSLC Experience Required: None Physical Standards: Must be physically fit for outdoor work. Male: Height 165 cm (SC/ST 160 cm), Chest 81 cm (5 cm expansion). Female: Height 152 cm (SC/ST 150 cm). Differently abled candidates are not eligible. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS & SSR Rule 10(a)(ii) Part II applicable. Candidates claiming equivalent qualification must produce relevant Government order at the time of verification.

Direct Recruitment From approved Probationers in any of the categories of Assistant Excise Inspector, Excise Preventive Officer, Civil Excise Officer/Women Civil Excise Officer.
General conditions from the notification
Candidates must submit confirmation for writing examination. Rules of reservation and rotation (Rule 14 to 17 of Part II KS&SSR) do not apply. Probation period is two years on duty within a continuous period of 3 years. Training for not less than 12 months is mandatory. Must pass Account Test (Lower), Excise Tests Parts A & B and DOM or MOP during probation.
