Age Limit
18-45 Only Candidates born between 02.01.1976 and 01.01.2003 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post (Including the relaxation as per para 2(i) of General conditions). Upper age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years.
Qualifications
Educational Qualifications: • A degree in Arabic conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. • A title of Oriental Learning in Arabic awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. • A Pass in Pre-degree with Part III Arabic (Special Optional) of the Calicut University. • A pass in Plus two, Part III, Arabic (optional) course conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Examinations, Kerala. • A pass in SSLC Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala with Arabic under Part I and Part II First Language. • A pass in SSLC Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala or its equivalent and any one of the following qualifications: (i) Arabic Munshi Examination (Higher), (ii) Arabic Munshi Examination (Lower), (iii) Arabic Teachers Examination, (iv) Arabic Entrance Examination of the Kerala/Calicut Universities. • BA Arabic & Islamic History double main degree awarded or recognised by Universities in Kerala (as per GO (MS) 8/19/G.Edn dated 14.01.2019). • Candidates should possess the minimum general educational qualification viz., A pass in SSLC examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala or its equivalent. Technical Qualifications: • Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala. (Exemption: Candidates who have qualified CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D/M.Ed. in the respective subjects are exempted from acquiring TET). Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 a(ii) of Part II KS&SSR will be applicable for this post. Candidates claiming equivalent qualification should produce relevant Government Orders during verification.
Notes
Applications submitted by candidates belonging to the communities other than those notified will be summarily rejected. The selection will be made on a revenue district basis subject to special conditions. Candidates who have AADHAAR card should add AADHAAR card as I.D. Proof in their profile.
