Kerala PSC has invited applications for Full Time Junior Language Teacher (Arabic)-LPS in Education (Category No. 520/2019). Vacancies: District wise: Kollam – 8, Malappuram - 1, Wayanad – 1, Kannur - 2; pay scale: ₹25200-54000/-; method of appointment: Direct Recruitment. Age limit

18-40. Candidates should be born between 02.01.1979 and 01.01.2001 (Both dates included) with usual relaxation to SC/ST and Other Backward Communities. Maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years. Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A degree in Arabic conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. • A Title of Oriental Learning in Arabic awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. • A Pass in Pre-Degree with Part III Arabic (Special Optional) of the Calicut University. • A Pass in Plus Two, Part III Arabic (Optional) course conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Examination in Kerala. • A pass in SSLC Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala with Arabic under Part I and II first Language. • A pass in SSLC examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala or its equivalent; and any one of the following qualifications: 1) A Pass in Arabic Munshi Examination (Higher) conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examination, Kerala. 2) A Pass in Arabic Munshi Examination (Lower) conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. 3) A Pass in Arabic Teachers Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. 4) A Pass in Arabic Entrance Examination of the Kerala and Calicut Universities. • BA Arabic & Islamic History double main degree awarded or recognised by Universities in Kerala. Technical Qualifications: • Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K.TET) for the post conducted by the Government of Kerala. Exemption: Candidates who have qualified CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/PhD./M.Ed. in the respective subjects are exempted from acquiring TET. Experience Required: None Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS& SSR Part II Rule 10(a) (ii) will be applicable for this post. Application of candidates who have claimed qualification equivalent to those prescribed in the Gazette notification for the post will be considered only if they produce Govt orders to prove equivalency at the time of verification.

Candidates must submit confirmation for writing the examination through their 'One Time Registration' Profile. Selection is on a revenue district basis. 3% of fresh vacancies reserved for Differently abled persons. Preference given to wives of Jawans and First Class Scouts and Guides. Laboratory Attenders with 5 years service exempted from age limit.
