Age Limit
18 – 43 (Dheevara, Hindu Nadar, SCCC: born between 02.01.1976 and 01.01.2001; SC converted to Christianity: born between 02.01.1974 and 01.01.2001). 18-45 (Scheduled Tribe: born between 02.01.1974 and 01.01.2001). Maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years.
Qualifications
Educational Qualifications: • A Degree in Arabic conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. • A Title of Oriental Learning in Arabic awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. • A Pass in Pre-Degree with Part III Arabic (Special Optional) of the Calicut University. • A pass in Plus Two, Part III Arabic (optional) course conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Examinations, Kerala. • A pass in SSLC Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala with Arabic under Part I and II first Language. • A pass in SSLC examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala or its equivalent; and any one of the following: 1) Pass in Arabic Munshi Examination (Higher), 2) Pass in Arabic Munshi Examination (Lower), 3) Pass in Arabic Teachers Examination, 4) Pass in Arabic Entrance Examination of the Kerala / Calicut Universities. • BA Arabic & Islamic History double main degree awarded or recognised by Universities in Kerala. Technical Qualifications: • Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala. Exemption: Candidates who have qualified CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D/M.Ed. in the respective subjects are exempted from acquiring TET. Experience Required: Not applicable Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 a (ii) of part II KS & SSR will be applicable to this post. Candidates claiming equivalent qualification should produce relevant Government Orders during verification.
Notes
Candidates must submit confirmation for writing the examination through their One Time Registration Profile. Applications submitted by candidates belonging to communities other than those notified will be rejected. Selection is on a revenue district basis.
