Direct Recruitment (from the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Hindu Nadar, Ezhava/Thiyya/Billava, OBC, Viswakarma and LC/AI reservation communities only).
Age Limit
18 – 43. Only candidates born between 02.01.1976 and 01.01.2001 (both dates included) are eligible for Hindu Nadar, Ezhava/Thiyya/Billava, OBC, Viswakarma and LC/AI candidates. 18-45. Only candidates born between 02.01.1974 and 01.01.2001 (both dates included) are eligible for Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe candidates. Maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years.
Qualifications
Educational Qualifications: • A Degree in Arabic conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. • A Title of Oriental Learning in Arabic awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. • A Pass in Pre-Degree with Part III Arabic (Special Optional) of the Calicut University. • A pass in Plus Two, Part III Arabic (optional) course conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Examinations, Kerala. • A pass in SSLC Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala with Arabic under Part I and II first Language. • A pass in SSLC examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala or its equivalent; and any one of the following: 1) A Pass in Arabic Munshi Examination (Higher), 2) A Pass in Arabic Munshi Examination (Lower), 3) A Pass in Arabic Teachers Examination, 4) A pass in Arabic Entrance Examination of the Kerala / Calicut Universities. • BA Arabic & Islamic History double main degree awarded or recognised by Universities in Kerala. Technical Qualifications: • Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala. Experience Required: None Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 a (ii) of part II KS & SSR will be applicable to this post. Candidates claiming equivalent qualification should produce relevant Government Orders during verification.
