Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of High School Assistant (Arabic) in Education. Category No: 47-48/2018. Vacancies: District wise: Cat No- 47/2018 (Scheduled Caste): Thiruvananthapuram - 01, Alappuzha - 01, Thrissur - 01; Cat No- 48/2018 (Scheduled Tribe): Kozhikode - 01, Palakkad - 01. Scale of Pay: 29,200-62,400/-(Revised). Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (from candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste & Scheduled Tribe communities only). Applications must be submitted online on or before 13-06-2018 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

18-45. Only candidates born between 02-01-1973 and 01-01-2000 (both dates included) are eligible. Maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years including all relaxations. Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A Degree in Arabic or Arabic as one of the optional subjects under pattern II of Part III and B.Ed/B.T/L.T conferred or recognised by the Universities in Kerala. • A Title of Oriental Learning in Arabic awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala and Certificate in Language Teacher's Training issued by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. • Post Graduates in Arabic are also eligible to apply if they possess B.Ed/B.T/L.T Technical Qualifications: • Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala. • Exemption: Candidates who have qualified CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D/M.Ed. in the respective subjects are exempted from acquiring TET. Experience Required: Not applicable Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS & SSR Part II Rule 10 a (ii) is applicable.

General conditions from the notification

Candidates must register via One Time Registration. Applications submitted by candidates belonging to communities other than those notified will be rejected. Separate Ranked lists will be prepared for each district. Candidates should apply to only one district. Selection is subject to G.O (MS) No. 154/71/PD dated 27.05.1971 regarding revenue district basis.
