Age Limit
18-43. Only candidates born between 02.01.1972 and 01.01.1997 (Both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. In the case of adult members of Scheduled caste converted to OX and their children, the upper age limit will be 45 years (i.e between 1.1.1997 and 2.1.1970).
Qualifications
Educational Qualifications: • A Degree in Kannada and B.Ed/B.T/L.T conferred or recognised by the Universities in Kerala. • OR A Title of Oriental Learning in Kannada awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala (If such Title has been declared as equivalent to Part III of Degree) and Certificate in Language Teacher's Training issued by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. • Post Graduates in Kannada are also eligible to apply for this post provided that they have B.Ed/B.T/L.T qualification. Technical Qualifications: • B.Ed should be in the concerned subject i.e Kannada. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Disciplines in which BA/MA and B.Ed degree were obtained should be mentioned in brackets. Those candidates who secured BA/MA and B.Ed/BT Degree from the Universities outside Kerala should note in the application form, the number and date of relevant orders declaring the said degree as equivalent to those prescribed for this selection.
Notes
Applications submitted in conventional types will be summarily rejected. Candidates must apply online only via the Kerala PSC website. Selection will be made on a revenue district basis subject to special conditions in G.O.(Ms) No.154/71/PD dated 27.05.1971. General rules regarding age relaxation, probation, and disqualification apply.
