Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of High School Assistant (Mathematics) Kannada Medium (By Transfer) in General Education Department. Category No: 262/2018. Method of Appointment: Recruitment by transfer from among the employees who have completed the prescribed service and who are working as Clerk/Typist/Attender/Office Attendant in the General Education Department.. Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A Bachelors Degree with Mathematics or Statistics as Main Subject and B.Ed/B.T in the concerned subjects conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. • Post Graduates in Mathematics/Statistics with B.Ed/BT in the concerned subject will also be considered. • Diploma in Rural Service awarded by the National Council for Rural Higher Education will also be treated as equivalent to Degree. • B.Sc Ed in Physics – Chemistry – Mathematics stream conducted by the Regional Institute of Education Mysore of NCERT. Technical Qualifications: • Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala. • Must have passed SSLC/Plus Two/Pre-Degree with Kannada as I or II Language OR a pass in Degree or Post Graduation in Kannada Language. Experience Required: Service not less than 5 years as Clerk/Typist/Attender/Office Attendant in the General Education Department as on the date of application. Applicant should be an approved probationer/Full member of the Kerala General Education subordinate service. Physical Standards: Not applicable. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II of KS&SSR is applicable. Candidates claiming equivalent qualifications should produce relevant Govt. Orders during verification.

Candidates must be approved probationers/full members of the Kerala General Education subordinate service. Rules 14 to 17 in Part II of the KS & SSR are not applicable to recruitment by transfer. If written/OMR/Online test is conducted, candidates must submit confirmation through their profile.
