Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of High School Assistant (Physical Science) Tamil Medium (By Transfer) in Education. Category No: 195/2015. Vacancies: District wise (Palakkad – 1). Scale of Pay: 15,380 – 25,900/-. Method of Appointment: Recruitment by transfer from among the employees who have completed the prescribed service and who are working as Clerk/Typist/Attendar/Peon in the General Education Department. The applicant should be an approved probationer/Full member of the above subordinate service as on the date of application.. Applications must be submitted online on or before 19-08-2015 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A Degree in the concerned subject and B.Ed/BT in the concerned subject conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. • Post Graduates in the concerned subject and B.Ed/BT in the concerned subject are also eligible. • Diploma in Rural Service awarded by the National Council for Rural Higher Education will also be treated as equivalent to Degree. • The applicant should have taken physics/Chemistry as main subject for graduation. Degree in Geology (Main) with Physics and Chemistry as subsidiary subjects with B.Ed. Degree (Physical Science) can also be considered as an alternative qualification. • B.Sc Ed in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics stream conducted by the Regional Institute of Education, Mysore of NCERT are also eligible. Technical Qualifications: • Sufficient knowledge of Tamil which will be tested at the time of interview. Experience Required: Service as Clerk/Typist/Attender/Peon in the General Education Department with not less than 5 years as on the date of application. Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10(a) (ii) of Part II of the KS&SSR will be applicable for this post.

General conditions from the notification
The selection will be made on a revenue district basis. The rules regarding the reservation of appointment contemplated in Article 14 to 17 in Part II of the KS & SSR are not applicable to recruitment by transfer. Candidates already in Government service holding this post in any one district are prohibited from applying again for this post.
