20 – 45. Only candidates born between 02.01.1975 and 01.01.2000 (both dates included) are eligible. In the absence of qualified candidates within the age limit, the upper age limit shall be relaxed up to 50 years.

Educational Qualifications: • Masters Degree in the concerned subject with not less than 45% marks from any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognised as equivalent thereto in the respective subject by any University in Kerala. • B.Ed in the concerned subject acquired after a regular course of study from any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognised as equivalent thereto by a University in Kerala. • In the absence of persons with B.Ed. Degree in concerned subject, B.Ed. degree acquired in the concerned faculty as specified in the Acts and Statutes of any of the Universities in Kerala. • In the absence of persons with B.Ed. Degree as specified above, persons with B.Ed. Degree in any subject acquired after a regular course of study from any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognised as equivalent thereto by any of the Universities in Kerala. • M.Sc.Ed in the concerned subject with not less than 45% of marks from any of the Regional Institutes of Education sponsored by NCERT (For Group I subjects). Technical Qualifications: • Must have passed the State Eligibility Test (SET) for the post of Higher Secondary School Teacher conducted by the Government of Kerala or by the Agency authorized by the State Government. Experience Required: Not applicable Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10(a)(ii) of part II of KS&SSR regarding qualification is applicable. Candidates claiming equivalent qualification must produce relevant Government Order at the time of verification.

Ranked list remains in force for a minimum of one year and maximum of three years. Appointed candidates will be on probation for two years on duty within a continuous period of three years. If written/OMR/Online test is conducted, candidates must submit confirmation through their profile.
