Age Limit
20-45. Candidates must have been born between 02.01.1975 and 01.01.2000 (both dates included). Only candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribes are eligible.
Qualifications
Educational Qualifications: • Master's Degree in the concerned subject with not less than 45% marks from any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognized as equivalent thereto in the respective subject by a University in Kerala. Technical Qualifications: • B.Ed. in the concerned subject acquired through a regular course of study from any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognized as equivalent thereto by a University in Kerala. • In the absence of B.Ed. degree holders, B.Ed. degree acquired in the concerned faculty as specified in the Acts and Statutes of any of the Universities in Kerala. • In the absence of the above, regular B.Ed. degree in any subject or equivalent qualification recognized by a University in Kerala. • Must have passed the State Eligibility Test (SET) for the post of Higher Secondary School Teacher conducted by the Government of Kerala or by the Agency authorized by the State Government. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable. Equivalency orders must be produced at the time of verification.
Notes
The rules and conditions regarding probation and general conditions are applicable as per Kerala PSC rules, excluding certain parts of KS&SSR as specified in the notification.
