Age Limit
20-45. Candidates must be born between 02.01.1975 and 01.01.2000 (both dates included). Age relaxation as per rules.
Qualifications
Educational Qualifications: • Master's Degree in the concerned subject with not less than 45% marks from any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognized as equivalent thereto in the respective subject by any University in Kerala. • B.Ed Degree in the concerned subject acquired after a regular course of study from any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognized as equivalent thereto by any University in Kerala. • In the absence of persons with B.Ed Degree in the concerned subject, B.Ed Degree acquired in the concerned faculty as specified in the Acts and Statutes of any of the universities in Kerala. • In the absence of the above, M.Sc. Ed. in the concerned subject with not less than 50% marks from any Regional Institute of Education sponsored by the NCERT. Technical Qualifications: • Must have passed the State Eligibility Test (SET) for the post of Higher Secondary School Teacher conducted by the Government of Kerala or by the agency authorized by the State Government. Experience Required: None Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable. Candidates claiming equivalent qualification should produce the Government Order proving the equivalency at the time of certificate verification.

Candidates must possess the required qualifications on the date of application. Applications of candidates not belonging to the Scheduled Tribe category will be rejected. Confirmation for the exam is mandatory.
