Age limit

19-44. Only candidates born between 2.1.1976 and 1.1.2001 (both dates are included) are eligible to apply for this post with usual relaxation to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and other Backward Communities. Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • S.S.L.C or its equivalent qualification. Technical Qualifications: • National Trade Certificate in the appropriate trade with three years experience in the trade after obtaining the certificate. • National Apprenticeship Certificate in the appropriate trade with one year experience after obtaining the certificate. • Diploma in the appropriate branch of Engineering from a Government or Government Recognized polytechnic or its equivalent qualification. Experience Required: Three years experience for NTC holders or one year experience for NAC holders in the appropriate trade. The experience gained by a Workshop Attender in the trade can also be deemed to be qualifying experience. SC/ST candidates are exempted from the qualification of experience. Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 a (ii) of part II of KS&SSR is applicable. Candidates who claim equivalent qualification instead of qualification mentioned in the notification shall produce the relevant Government Order to prove the equivalency at the time of verification.
General conditions from the notification
Candidates must see the General conditions in part II of the Gazette Notification. Every person appointed to this post shall be on probation for a total period of two years of duty within a continuous period of three years.
