Qualifications
Educational Qualifications:
• A pass in SSLC Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala or its equivalent
• A pass in Pre-degree examination conducted by any of the Universities in Kerala or any examination recognized by any such Universities in Kerala as equivalent to Pre-degree examination
• A pass in Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Examinations, Kerala or any other Examinations recognized by Government as equivalent thereto
• A pass in TTC Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala (D.Ed/D.El.Ed qualification shall also be considered)
Technical Qualifications:
• Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala (Exemptions apply for CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D/M.Ed holders)
Experience Required:
5 years service as Clerk/Typist/Attender/Office Attendant in the General Education Department as on the date of application

Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules:
KS & SSR part II Rule 10 a (ii) is applicable. Candidates claiming equivalent qualification should produce relevant Government orders during verification.

Candidates must be an approved probationer/Full member of the Kerala General Education subordinate service. Rules regarding reservation (Rules 14 to 17 in Part II of KS & SSR) are not applicable to recruitment by transfer.
