Who can apply

Kerala PSC has invited applications for Livestock Inspector Gr. II / Poultry Assistant/ Milk Recorder / Store Keeper / Enumerator in Animal Husbandry (Category No. 533/2019 – 535/2019). Vacancies: District wise (Not estimated for most, specific numbers for IDK, EKM, MLP, KKD); pay scale: Rs. 20000-45800/-; method of appointment: Direct Recruitment (From three categories: Cattle Improvement Assistants, Ex-Service Personnel/Dependents, and Open Market). Age limit

18-36. Only candidates born between 02.01.1983 and 01.01.2001 (both dates included) are eligible to apply with usual relaxation to SC/ST and OBC candidates. Cattle Improvement Assistants to be absorbed as Livestock Inspector Gr.II shall be given age relaxation to the extent of the period they have worked in that capacity. Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A pass in VHSE in Livestock Management. Experience Required: None Physical Standards: Not specified, but a certificate of physical fitness from a Medical Officer not below the rank of Assistant Surgeon is required for trainees. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Part II Rule 10(a) (ii) is applicable for selection to the post. Those who claim equivalent qualification shall produce the respective Government Order to prove the claim at the time of One Time Verification.

General conditions from the notification
Candidates must undergo Stockman training course / Livestock Inspector training course. Successful completion is mandatory; failure after 4 attempts leads to termination. Selected candidates must execute a bond to serve the Government of Kerala for a minimum period of 5 years. Differently abled persons are not eligible for appointment.
