Vacancies: District wise: Kollam - 02, Malappuram - 06, Kannur - 01; pay scale: 25200-54000/-; method of appointment: Direct Recruitment. Age limit

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Graduation in Music conferred or recognised by the Universities in Kerala. • A pass in SSLC Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala or its equivalent. Technical Qualifications: • A Pass in Ganapraveena or Ganabhooshana Examination in Vocal Music or Gana bhooshana Diploma in Violin, Veena conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. • Music Senior Certificate issued by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. • Sangeetha Vidwan title of the Central College of Karnatic Music, Madras. • Ganapraveena/Ganabhooshanam (Mridangam) issued by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. • Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala. (Exemption: Candidates who have qualified CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D/M.Ed. in the respective subjects are exempted from acquiring TET). Experience Required: Not specified Physical Standards: Not specified Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II of the KS&SSR will be applicable. Applications of candidates who have claimed qualification equivalent to those prescribed will be considered only if they produce Government Orders to prove equivalency at the time of verification.
