23-45, (Only Candidates born between 02.01.1976 and 01.01.1998 (both dates included) are eligible). In the absence of qualified candidates within the age limit, the upper age limit shall be relaxed up to 50 years.

Educational Qualifications: • Master's Degree in Physics with not less than 45% marks awarded by any of the Universities in Kerala or an equivalent qualification • B.Ed Degree in the concerned subject acquired after a regular course of study from any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognized as equivalent thereto by a University in Kerala • In the absence of persons with B.Ed. Degree in the concerned subject, B.Ed. Degree in the concerned faculty as specified in the Acts and Statutes of any of the Universities in Kerala • In the absence of persons with B.Ed Degree as specified above, persons with B.Ed Degree in any subject acquired after a regular course of study from any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognized as equivalent thereto Technical Qualifications: • Must have passed the State Eligibility Test (SET) in the concerned subject for the post of Non Vocational Teacher conducted by Government of Kerala or by the agency authorized by the State Government Experience Required: Not applicable Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 (a) (ii) of Part II KS&SSR is applicable. Persons who have acquired M.Ed. in the concerned subject from a recognised University in Kerala are exempted from B.Ed. Qualification. Various exemptions for SET exist for those who have passed NET/JRF, Ph.D/M.Phil/M.Ed, or SET for College Lecturers/HSST.

Probation period of two years on duty within a continuous period of three years. Candidates must submit confirmation for writing the exam if a test is conducted. AADHAAR card should be added as ID in profile.
