Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Part Time High School Assistant (Arabic) in Education. Category No: 323/2016 to 328/2016. Vacancies: District wise (Ezhava/Billava/Thiyya, LC/AI, OBC, SC, OX, Dheevera communities). Scale of Pay: 9,940 - 16,580/- (PR). Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (from the above mentioned Communities only). Applications must be submitted online on or before 02-11-2016 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

1. 18-43. Only candidates born between 02.01.1973 and 01.01.1998 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post in the case of Ezhava/Billava/Thiyya, OBC, LC/AI, OX and Dheevera. 2. 18-45. Only candidates born between 02.01.1971 and 01.01.1998 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post in the case of SC and OX Candidates who have converted to Christianity from SC Communities after attaining the age of eighteen years and the children of such parents. Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A Degree in Arabic or a Degree with Arabic as one of the optional subjects under pattern II of Part (III) and B.Ed/B.T/L.T conferred or recognized by the universities in Kerala. • A title of Oriental Learning in Arabic awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala and Certificate in Language Teacher's Training issued by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. • Post Graduates in Arabic are also eligible to apply if they possess B.Ed/B.T/L.T. • B.Ed should be in the concerned language. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS & SSR Rule 10 a (ii) will be applicable for this post.

General conditions from the notification
Applications submitted by candidates belonging to community other than those notified will be summarily rejected. Selection will be made on a Revenue District basis. A candidate advised for appointment in one Revenue district is not eligible for transfer to another district unless he/she completes 5 years continuous service.
