Vacancies: District wise: Thiruvananthapuram (SC-2, Palakkad-1, Kozhikode-1, Kasaragod-1), Dheevara (Kozhikode-1), Ezhava/Thiyya/Billava (Wayanad-1, Kasaragod-1), OBC (Wayanad-1), OX (Kozhikode-1). Scale of Pay: 18,000-41,500/- (Revised). Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (from the above mentioned Reservation group of communities only). Applications must be submitted online on or before 06-12-2017 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

18-43 (born between 02.01.1974 and 01.01.1999) for Ezhava/Thiyya/Billava, Dheevara, OBC and OX; 18-45 (born between 02.01.1972 and 01.01.1999) for Scheduled Caste and OX candidates converted to Christianity from SC. Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A degree in Arabic conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala • A title of Oriental Learning in Arabic awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala • A Pass in Pre-degree with Part III Arabic (Special Optional) of the Calicut University • A Pass in Plus Two with Part III Arabic (Optional) course conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Examinations, Kerala • A pass in SSLC Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala with Arabic under Part I and II first language • A pass in SSLC Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala or its equivalent, and any one of the following: A pass in Arabic Munshi Examination (Higher), A pass in Arabic Munshi Examination (Lower), A pass in Arabic Teachers Examination, or A pass in Arabic Entrance Examination of the Kerala / Calicut Universities Technical Qualifications: • Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala Experience Required: None Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 a(ii) of Part II KS&SSR will be applicable for this post. Candidates who have qualified CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D/M.Ed. in the respective subjects are exempted from acquiring TET.
