Who can apply

Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Part Time Junior Language Teacher (Arabic) - UPS in Education. Category No: 374/2018. Vacancies: District wise: Kasaragod - 1 (One) (Scheduled Caste). Scale of Pay: 18,000-41,500/-. Method of Appointment: Direct Recruitment (from Scheduled Caste Community only). In the absence of candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste community, candidates belonging to Scheduled Tribe community will be considered.. Applications must be submitted online on or before 30-01-2019 through Kerala PSC One Time Registration.

Age limit

18 – 45. Only candidates born between 02.01.1973 and 01.01.2000 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post in the case of Scheduled Caste community. (Including the relaxation as per para 2(i) of General conditions). Check your age for this post with your date of birth and category

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A degree in Arabic conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. • A title of Oriental Learning in Arabic awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. • A Pass in Pre-degree with Part III Arabic (Special Optional) of the Calicut University. • A pass in SSLC Examination Kerala or its equivalent and a pass in Arabic Munshi Examination (Higher) conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. • A pass in Arabic Preliminary Examination of the Kerala or Calicut Universities. • A pass in SSLC Examination of Kerala or its equivalent and a pass in Arabic Teachers Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. Technical Qualifications: • Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala. Experience Required: None Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 a(ii) of Part II KS&SSR will be applicable for this post. Candidates claiming equivalent qualification should produce relevant Government orders during verification to prove that the qualification claimed is equivalent to the prescribed qualification for the post. Exemption from K-TET: Candidates who have qualified CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D/M.Ed. in the respective subjects are exempted from acquiring TET.

General conditions from the notification
The selection will be made on a revenue district basis. Candidates already in Government service holding this post in any one district are prohibited from applying again. Preference will be given to wives of Jawans and First Class Scouts and Guides. Upper age limit after allowing relaxation should not exceed 50 years.
