Age Limit
18 – 43. Only candidates born between 02.01.1974 and 01.01.1999 (both dates included) are eligible. Maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years including relaxations.
Qualifications
Educational Qualifications: • A degree in Arabic conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. • A title of Oriental Learning in Arabic awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. • A pass in Pre-Degree Examination in the Part III Arabic (special optional) from the Calicut University. • A pass in SSLC examination Kerala or its equivalent and a pass in Arabic Munshi Examination (Higher) conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examination, Kerala. • A pass in Arabic Preliminary Examination of the Kerala or Calicut Universities. • A pass in SSLC Examination of Kerala or its equivalent and a pass in Arabic Teachers Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. • A Pass in Plus Two, Part III, Arabic (optional course) conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Examinations, Kerala. Technical Qualifications: • Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala. • Exemption: Candidates who have qualified CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D/M.Ed. in the respective subjects are exempted from acquiring TET. Experience Required: Not applicable Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Part II Rule 10 (a) (ii) will be applicable for this post.
Notes
Candidates must register via One Time Registration. Applications submitted by communities other than those notified will be rejected. Selection is on a revenue district basis. Candidates already in Government service holding this post in any one district are prohibited from applying again. No application fee is required.
