Age Limit
18-45. Candidates must be born between 02.01.1975 and 01.01.2002 (both dates included). Usual age relaxation applies.
Qualifications
Educational Qualifications: • SSLC or equivalent qualification. • A degree in Urdu conferred or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. • OR A title of Oriental Learning in Urdu awarded or recognized by the Universities in Kerala. • OR A pass in Adib-i-Fazil (Preliminary) (Urdu) examination conducted by any of the Universities in Kerala. • OR A pass in Urdu Higher examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. • OR A BA degree in Urdu and Islamic History double main awarded by Kannur University. Technical Qualifications: • Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala. • Exemption from K-TET is provided for candidates who have acquired CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D/M.Ed in the relevant subject. Experience Required: Not applicable Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Part II Rule 10(a)(ii) is applicable. Equivalency orders must be produced at the time of verification.
Notes
Candidates must submit confirmation for the exam through their OTR profile. Failure to do so will lead to rejection. Rules of Procedure Rule 22 applies to candidates who confirm but do not appear for the exam.
