Age Limit
18-41. Only candidates born between 02.01.1982 and 01.01.2005 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. In the absence of qualified candidates within the age limit the upper age limit shall be relaxed upto 50 years.
Qualifications
Educational Qualifications: • Must have studied upto Standard VIII. Technical Qualifications: • Proficiency in boat pulling, knots, splices and rigging, handling single cylinder motor boats, anchor work and swimming. The proficiency in the above items of work shall be assessed in a practical test conducted by the PSC at the time of selection. Physical Standards: Height- Not less than 160 cms. Without shoes or boots. Weight- Not less than 48 kgs. Chest- Not less than 78 cms. normal and not less than 83 cms. on expansion. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable.
