Age limit

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A pass in SSLC Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examination, Kerala or its equivalent. Technical Qualifications: • Group Certificate in Needle Work and Dress Making of the KGTE (Higher) or MGTE (Higher). • Group Certificate in Tailoring of the KGTE (Higher) or MGTE (Higher). • Group Diploma in Crafts issued by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. • National Trade Certificate in Cutting and Tailoring issued by the National Council for Training in Vocational Trades, Government of India (GO(P)No.106/82/G.Edn dated 29.07.1982). • Diploma in Craftsmanship (Tailoring and Garment making) issued by the Director of Technical Education, Kerala. • Diploma in Craftsmanship (Tailoring and Embroidery) awarded by the Director of Technical Education, Kerala. (G.O.(P)No.157/89/G.Edn. dated 24.08.1989). • National Trade Certificate in Dress making awarded by National Council for Training in Vocational Trades. (G.O.(P)No.501/97/Edn. Dated 18.12.1997). • Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala. Exemption: Candidates who have qualified CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D/M.Ed. in the respective subjects are exempted from acquiring KTET (G.O. (P) No. 145/16/G.Edn. Dated 30.08.16 and G.O. (P) No. 206/16/G.Edn. Dated 08.12.2016). Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 a (ii) of KS&SSR will be applicable for this post. M.Phil in the concerned subject be the one awarded by any of the Universities in Kerala or recognised as equivalent by any of the Universities in Kerala.
General conditions from the notification
Applications are invited online only through One Time Registration. Conventional type applications will be summarily rejected. Candidature is provisional. Rules of Part II KS&SSR are applicable. Candidates who have AADHAAR card should add AADHAAR card as I.D. Proof in their profile.
