Age Limit
19-41. Only Candidates born between 02.01.1982 and 01.01.2004 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post. In the absence of qualified candidates within the age limit the upper age limit shall be relaxed up to 50 years.
Qualifications
Educational Qualifications: • Diploma in Agricultural and Rural Engineering awarded by the Kerala Agricultural University. • In the absence of persons with the qualifications prescribed under item 1, persons with National Trade Certificate in Mechanic (Tractor), Mechanic (Motor Vehicle), Mechanic (Diesel), or Fitter from ITI will be considered. Technical Qualifications: • Practical Experience of not less than one year in the trade (acquired after ITI Trade Certificate). • Valid Tractor Driving License. Experience Required: Practical Experience of not less than one year in the trade acquired after the acquisition of I.T.I Trade Certificate. Physical Standards: Must be physically fit for the post and meet the specific vision standards (Distant vision 6/6 snellen, near vision 0.5 snellen, full field of vision for each eye, ability to distinguish red and green colours, free from night blindness). Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10(a)(ii) of Part II of KS & SSR is applicable.
Notes
Paragraphs two, three and twenty five (except the conditions laid down in Rule 3(c), Part II of the Kerala State and Subordinate Service Rules) are not applicable to this selection. Candidates must submit confirmation for writing the test if conducted.
