Age Limit
18-36. Only candidates born between 02.01.1981 and 01.01.1999 (both dates included) are eligible to apply. Other backward Communities and SC/ST candidates are eligible for usual age relaxation. Maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years.
Qualifications
Educational Qualifications: • A Pass in Pre-Degree or Higher Secondary Course (+2) Technical Qualifications: • A Pass in T.B. Health Visitors Course conducted by the T.B Association of India, New Delhi or any other equivalent qualification recognized by Government of Kerala. • In the absence of persons with Technical Qualification, those with HSS certificates (in science subjects) will be selected and they will be given 6 months training in the State T.B Centre, Thiruvananthapuram. Experience Required: Not applicable Physical Standards: Not specified Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS & SSR Part II Rule 10 (a) (ii) is applicable for selection to this post.
Notes
The selection is on a Revenue District basis. Candidates advised for appointment are not eligible for transfer to another district until 5 years of continuous service. Candidates already in Government Service holding the same post in any one district are prohibited from applying again. Probation: Two years on duty within a continuous period of three years. Candidates selected without technical qualification must execute a bond to serve for 10 years.
