Age limit

18-40. Only candidates born between 02.01.1979 and 01.01.2001 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post with usual age relaxation to SC/ST candidates and other backward communities. Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • A pass in S.S.L.C. Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala or its equivalent. • A pass in Pre-degree examination conducted by any of the Universities in Kerala or any examination recognised by any such universities in Kerala as equivalent to Pre-Degree examination. • A pass in Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala or any other examination recognised by Government as equivalent thereto. • A pass in T.T.C Examination conducted by the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Kerala. • A Degree in any subject and B.Ed/B.T/L.T conferred or recognised by the Universities in Kerala. Technical Qualifications: • Must have passed the Kerala Teacher Eligibility Test (K-TET) for this post conducted by the Government of Kerala. Exemption: Candidates who have qualified CTET/NET/SET/M.Phil/Ph.D/ M.Ed. in the respective subjects are exempted from acquiring TET. Experience Required: Not applicable Physical Standards: Not applicable Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 a (ii) of KS&SSR Part II will be applicable for selection to this post. Candidates claiming equivalent qualifications should produce relevant Govt. Orders during verification.
General conditions from the notification
Selection is on a revenue district basis. 3% of vacancies reserved for Differently Abled candidates. Candidates must submit confirmation for writing the examination through their One Time Registration Profile if a test is conducted.
