Kerala PSC recruitment notification for the post of Veterinary Surgeon Gr.II in Animal Husbandry. Category No: 279/2016. Vacancies: Anticipated. Scale of Pay: 20740 – 36140/ (Pre-revised). Age limit

18-39; Only candidates born between 02/01/1977 and 01/01/1998 (both dates included) are eligible to apply. Usual age relaxation applies for SC/ST and OBC candidates. The period of service in Armed forces and period of unemployment on discharge up to a maximum of three years shall be excluded for the purpose of reckoning the maximum age limit. Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Degree in Veterinary Science Technical Qualifications: • Registration with the Kerala State Veterinary Council as envisaged in the Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984 (Central Act of 52 of 1984) • Working knowledge in Malayalam Experience Required: Not applicable Physical Standards: Not specified Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS & SSR Part II Rule 10(a)ii is applicable. Relaxation for working knowledge in Malayalam allowed for Linguistic Minorities subject to passing the language test as per Rule 10 of Part II of KS&SSR 1958.
General conditions from the notification
As per Part II of KS&SSR. Candidates must undergo a training course conducted by the Animal Husbandry Department within the period of probation, unless exempted.
