Qualifications
Educational Qualifications: • A Degree in Zoology or Botany or Forestry or Veterinary Science from a University, Institution or Deemed University recognized by Government of India or Government of Kerala. Experience Required: Not specified Physical Standards: Male: Height not less than 168cm, chest 81cm with 5cm expansion. Female: Height not less than 157cm. Both must qualify in the National Physical Efficiency One Star Standard Test. Must possess perfect hearing, 6/6 distant vision, 0.5 near vision, normal colour vision, no night blindness, no paralysis, and be free from infectious diseases. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 (a)(ii) of Part II KS & SSR is applicable.
Notes
Candidates must possess AADHAAR as ID proof. Training for not less than one year followed by one year field training is mandatory. Physically handicapped persons are not eligible. Medical certificate from an Assistant Surgeon required at the time of Physical Efficiency Test.
