Age Limit
20-40. Only candidates born between 02.01.1984 and 01.01.2004 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post with usual relaxation to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Communities. Relaxation in upper age limit upto 43 (Forty Three) years as on the 1st day of January 2024 shall be allowed to the qualified Ministerial Staff under Higher Secondary Education Department.
Qualifications
Educational Qualifications: • Master's Degree in the concerned subject with not less than 50% marks from any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognized as equivalent thereto in the respective subject by a University in Kerala. • B.Ed in the concerned subject acquired after a regular course of study from any of the Universities in Kerala or a qualification recognized as equivalent thereto by a University in Kerala. Technical Qualifications: • Must have passed the State Eligibility Test (SET) for the post of Higher Secondary School Teacher conducted by Government of Kerala or by the agency authorized by the State Government. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 a(ii) of part II of KS&SSR is applicable.
Notes
The Ranked list published by the Commission shall remain in force for a minimum period of one year and max three years. Applications are provisional and subject to KPSC Rules of Procedure.
