Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • MD (General Medicine)/ DNB (General Medicine) • In the absence of candidates with the above, MBBS Degree from a recognised University will be considered for appointment as LECTURER in the scale of pay 15600 – 39100 + AGP 5400/- Technical Qualifications: • Permanent Registration under State Medical Council (Travancore-Cochin Medical Council) Experience Required: Not specified Physical Standards: Not specified Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Part II Rule 10(a)ii is applicable. DNB qualification must be acquired from a Medical College recognised by any of the Universities in Kerala.

Candidates must serve for four years during the first ten years of service (including training) in Defence Services if required (exempted for those who have completed 45 years of age). Provisional registration not accepted. Refer to Part II of the General Conditions.
