Age Limit

18-41. Only candidates born between 02.01.1973 and 01.01.1996 (both dates included) are eligible. Usual age relaxation for Backward Communities and SC/ST candidates applies, but in no case shall the maximum age limit exceed 50 years. Persons in service in the GCDA who possess the necessary qualifications are exempted from the upper age limit, provided the maximum age does not exceed 50 years.

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications: • Post Graduate Degree or Post Graduate Diploma in Town and Country Planning or Regional Planning/City Planning or equivalent Qualifications • Associate of the Institute of Town Planners, India • Degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture or Physical Planning • Diploma in Civil Engineering or Architecture • Post Diploma in Town and Country Planning or Regional Planning/City Planning Experience Required: Five years experience in the field of Town & Country Planning or Regional Planning/City Planning is essential with each qualification mentioned. For candidates with a Degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture or Physical Planning, five years service in the feeder category is also required. Practical experience must be acquired after obtaining the basic qualification. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Equivalent qualifications as per KS&SSR Rule 10(a)(ii) may be considered.

Notes

The selection is subject to the rules and regulations of the concern. Sub Paras v, vii, viii, ix, x, xi and xiii in para 2 and paras 5, 6 and 7 of the general conditions are not applicable to this post. Further details are available in Part II of the general conditions.
