Qualifications
Educational Qualifications: • Must be a Graduate Experience Required: None Physical Standards: Must be physically fit. Height: 160 cms (without footwear, taller persons given preference). Chest: 76 cms with minimum expansion of 5 cms. Must meet specific visual standards (6/6 snellen for distant vision, 0.5 snellen for near vision in both eyes) and pass a physical efficiency test. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: If sufficient number of fully qualified candidates are not available, applications of those who have passed Pre-university/Pre-Degree or equivalent examination of recognized University shall be considered.
Notes
Candidates selected shall undergo one year training. Period of training is not treated as duty. On appointment, probation for two years on duty within a continuous period of three years. Must execute a bond to serve the department for a minimum period of five years.
