Age Limit
Must not have completed 50 (Fifty) years as on 01.01.2016. Other conditions regarding age relaxation is not applicable.
Qualifications
Educational Qualifications: • Diploma in Agricultural Science awarded by the Kerala Agricultural University or its equivalent • Pass in SSLC with Agriculture as optional subject or its equivalent • Pass in SSLC or its equivalent and a recognized training in Agriculture • SSLC and KGTE in agriculture Technical Qualifications: • Successful completion of 2 years certificate course in Agricultural Science conducted by Gandhigram Rural Institute, Madurai or by Other similar Rural Institutes recognised by the Government of India • Certificate in Agricultural Science awarded by the National Council of Rural Higher Education, Government of India • Certificate in KGTE or MGTE in Agriculture • One Year training in Agriculture in an Agricultural Training School or a basic Agricultural Training School Physical Standards: Good Physique. Endurance test consisting of 1600 m race (maximum duration of 10 minutes) and digging a plot of 0.4 ares (maximum duration 1 hour) for candidates except Diploma holders in agriculture. Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: KS&SSR Rule 10(a)(ii) or equivalency orders as applicable
Notes
Part II of the Notification, probation period of two years duty within a continuous period of 3 years, and execution of bond for training.
