Age Limit
Upper age limit for appointment by transfer shall be 50 years as on the first day of January 2023. Other conditions regarding age relaxation is not applicable.
Qualifications
Educational Qualifications: • Diploma in Agricultural Science awarded by the Kerala Agricultural University or its equivalent. • Pass in SSLC with Agriculture as optional subject or its equivalent. • Pass in SSLC or its equivalent and a recognized training in Agriculture. • SSLC and KGTE in agriculture Technical Qualifications: • Successful completion of 2 years certificate course in Agricultural Science conducted by Gandhigram Rural Institute, Madurai or by Other similar Rural Institutes recognised by the Government of India. • Certificate in Agricultural Science awarded by the National Council of Rural Higher Education, Government of India. • Certificate in KGTE of MGTE in Agriculture. • One year training in Agriculture in an Agricultural Training School or a basic Agricultural Training School. Experience Required: Not applicable Physical Standards: Good Physique. All candidates except those who are not exempted from endurance test will have to undergo and pass an endurance test (1600 m race in max 10 mins and digging a plot of 0.4 acres in max 1 hour). Equivalence / KS&SSR Rules: Rule 10 a(ii) of part II of KS&SSR is applicable.

Candidates must acquaint themselves with Part II, General Conditions. Applications not in accordance with terms are liable to be rejected. Disciplinary action as per Rule 22 of KPSC Rules of Procedure for bogus claims.
